About the Author

I am a traditionally published fiction writer with Orion Fiction (Hatchette Publishing House) and have had two books published, both available worldwide in paperback and eBook formats.

My first book, Love is in the Air, was published in November 2023, followed by my second book, Lost and Found in Venice, which came out in October 2024. Currently, I am working on my third book, continuing my journey as an author.

In addition to my work as a fiction writer, I also freelance as a copywriter. Since I began, I have had the pleasure of having my work published with Dorset Living, Coeliac UK, wearecopywriters.com, Globe Soup, Joyful-Living.co, and British Pathe.

Love is in the Air

Lost and Found in Venice

Lost and Found in Venice

A cozy scene with a book titled 'Love is in the Air' and a cup of coffee.

Maya is DONE with men.

Christmas Day was meant to be the happiest day of her life: a picture-perfect New York wedding in Central Park. Instead, air hostess Maya finds herself working the Christmas Day flight from London to New York, just a week after Michael dumped her and got engaged to someone else in THE most public way possible.

It's already the worst day ever.

When the grumpy passenger in seat 28c pushes all her buttons and then complains about her service, it's the final straw. In a moment of frustration, Maya makes a pact: to swear off men for one year and focus on herself, documenting one (fun and sometimes terrifying!) challenge a month in her new blog, Flying Solo.

However, that no-longer grumpy and actually quite charming passenger keeps reappearing, both on and off her flights. Now, life is about to take off in ways Maya could never have imagined.

This utterly heart-warming and uplifting romance is perfect for fans of Sarah Morgan and Josie Silver.

Lost and Found in Venice

Book cover of Lost and Found in Venice by Joanna Knowles with a colorful canal scene.

Rosie Redbrush, a travel agent at Wanderlust Wishes travel agency, is a dedicated professional who sells holidays but never takes them herself. At twenty-nine, she enjoys a quiet, comfortable life in her hometown.

However, just days before Christmas, a difficult customer tricks Rosie into becoming a tour guide for a group of ten disgruntled pensioners in Venice! Suddenly, Rosie’s tranquil life is upended.

Escorting an elderly group through the enchanting streets of Italy’s most romantic city proves challenging enough, but with a neurotic aquaphobe, an accidental Santa race, a regrettable selfie, and a missing backpack, Rosie finds herself utterly lost in Venice, without a penny or a passport to her name.

Rosie can’t return home. As she travels across Italy in search of a solution, she unexpectedly discovers a loving family, a group of eclectic new friends, and the possibility of true love in the most unlikely of places.

The gorgeous new festive romcom from author Joanna Knowles is sure to become your favourite comfort read.
